With a plethora of new shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues constantly poised to open, Leeds is a city that has its finger on the pulse. We've compiled a list of five of the most intriguing new businesses that will be launching in the next months, ranging from healthy twists on delicious sweets to lively new eateries and wellness centers that assist you in reaching your objectives. Which one excites you the most?
Burgerism

Burgerism had a delivery kitchen in Leeds, as you may recall, and we have had a hole in our hearts shaped like Burgerism ever since it closed. Thankfully, the Manchester-based burger restaurant has been granted permission to open a takeaway location on Meanwood Road, so the wait is over.
Freight Island

With a £15 million extension and the addition of a second food court named 'Freight Island', Trinity Leeds is undergoing a significant overhaul.
About 72,000 square feet of additional space will be added as part of the renovation, including a gorgeous rooftop terrace with views of City Square that is the ideal place to eat delicious meals while taking in the skyline.
Broaster Club

This is unlike any chicken you've ever had. Broaster Club, which was first founded in Saudi Arabia in 2000, is introducing Leeds residents to their distinctive take on poultry. By pressure-frying the meat, broosting ensures that the chicken is moist and crispy. In addition to serving infused chicken, which includes flavouring the flesh from the inside out, they import their main ingredients straight from Saudi Arabia. This indicates that Broaster offers large, daring nibbles that are unique to the city. This is a club that you should definitely join.

DOMO

Expect hand-folded culurgiones, malloreddus done properly, seafood fregola, spaghetti with sea urchin, and dishes built around the sea. Delicacies like bottarga, platters of Sardinian cured meats and local cheeses, and long, slow suckling pig feasts made for sharing. To finish, proper Sardinian desserts like seadas - hot, sweet, and unapologetic.
DOMO will open in Tower Works soon.
Madre & Salon Madre

Madre is a Mexican restaurant and bar will serve authentic cuisine in a contemporary, design-led setting. The eatery was born in 2019 and assembled by the same team behind Belzan in Liverpool and London's Breddos, inspired by their travels to Mexico City, Guadalajara and Oaxaca. As a result, the pretty, city centre spot aims to give diners a culinary experience akin to theirs.
With Salon Madre, Madre's sister bar and pool hall, opening nearby, it will be a double whammy of new cuisines and vibes. This place amplifies the atmosphere and volume. A variety of street-food favourites, pool tables, DJ sets, tequila-fueled evenings, and Lucha Libre on the huge screens are all to be expected. Above all, it's enjoyable, casual, and ready-made for everything from large gatherings to romantic evenings.
Madre is opening in Wellington Place
Lane 7

The old Wilkos store on Albion Street is about to experience a good time. With games ranging from darts and pool to shuffleboard and bowling, Lane 7 is renowned for its fantastic atmosphere and good dose of competitive fun. Not to mention the vintage arcade games, stocked bar and delicious food from local restaurants like Fat Hippo.
Lane 7 is opening on Albion Street in early 2026.
STACK

A two-story entertainment center called STACK will occupy an outdoor space at Kirkgate Market, creating a lively new area with six bars, a coffee shop, and ten street food vendors. Additionally, there will be a covered plaza for year-round access and a central stage for live musical performances.
STACK will open at Kirkgate Market in late 2026.
Dishoom

Leeds will soon be able to enjoy Dishoom's delectable Bombay cuisine! The new business will be headquartered in the old Flannels building on Vicar Lane. Although not much is known yet, if its previous restaurants in the UK are any indication, we may anticipate decadent black daal, tandoor lamb chops, and even a few of bacon naan rolls.
Dishoom is opening on Vicar Lane in summer 2026.
